Your Instructor
Dr Fiona Zandt and Dr Suzanne Barrett are both Clinical Psychologists who work with children, adolescents and families. Fiona is also a Registered Play Therapist. They each have over 20 years experience working with children and adolescents with a broad range of psychological problems in a range of settings, including private practice, the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne, and child and adolescent mental health services. Their approach draws heavily on ACT, DBT and CBT, utilising developmentally appropriate playful strategies. They emphasise working with families and have a strong system focus.
Fiona and Suzanne are founders of Creative Child Therapy Workshops and authors of Creative Ways to Help Children Manage Big Feelings (2017) and Creative Ways to Help Children Manage Anxiety (2021) both published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers.
